Klara Schwabe
A dynamic and versatile musician whose artistic roots lie in the genres of jazz, blues and pop. Her musical career began at the age of five with classical piano lessons. She accidentally discovered her passion for singing when her piano teacher suggested to sing the song she had just learned on piano – „Because of you“ by Kelly Clarkson. This formative experience laid the foundation for her musical career.
After graduating from high school, Klara decided to pursue her passion for jazz singing professionally. She began her bachelor’s degree in jazz singing at the University of the Arts in Bremen, Germany, where she continued to hone her skills and sharpen her artistic profile. Since September 2023 she continues her studies with the New York Jazz Master in Groningen, the Netherlands. Her research topic „Intertwining the piano with my voice“ reflects her unique ability to seamlessly combine singing and piano playing to create a rich, multi-layered sonic experience.
Klara increasingly accompanies herself on the piano, giving her performances a special intimacy and authenticity. Her voice, which covers an impressive range, captivates audiences and creates a stirring atmosphere. Klara is known for her professionalism and charisma on stage and her audiences are always musically captivated and thrilled.
In September 2024, Klara will move to New York to broaden her musical horizons and take on new challenges. Her openness and adaptability, with which she can adapt to any musical situation, like a chameleon, are invaluable. She has the ability to adapt quickly to spontaneous situations, which is especially advantageous when she is on stage with musicians she does not know.
Klara offers a wide range of performances, from solo performances to various band formations. Her versatility allows her to respond to the special wishes and demands of the audience. In the band constellation, she attaches great importance to highlighting her fellow musicians and creating musical experiences together.
Her goal is to convey emotions and feelings through her music and to be inspired by her fellow musicians and the feedback of the audience. She recorded three albums, one of them is the debut album with her own band Quintett Klaire. Klara Schwabe lives music in all its facets and makes every concert an unforgettable experience.

FARMERSROAD BLUES BAND
Klara performed with the Farmersroad Blues Band for the first time in December 2018. The bandleader Dirk Theege asked her if she could sing Aretha Franklin’s ‚Think‘ at a gig that took place under the motto ‚The Blues Brothers‘. Since then, she has been a permanent member of the band at almost every concert and sings the blues with great passion.
She impresses with her precise scat singing and her effortless musicality. As the singer of the Farmersroad Blues Band, she once again demonstrates her versatility and lends a youthful touch to the earthy blues of a B. B. King.
QUINTETT KLAIRE
The Quintett Klaire impresses with the balanced quality of its sound, with the voices of the instruments and the singer merging into a harmonious whole. The five musicians also impress during their performances with their great playing energy, rhythmic precision and precisely timed interactions. With plenty of groove, verve, wit and melancholy, they have a diverse selection of music and arrangements by Cole Porter, Chick Corea and Bill Evans, among others.
The band was awarded the „Hochschulpreis Musik“ and the „SummerJazz Förderpreis 2022“.

WEDDING SINGER
With her clear and powerful voice, she convinces her audience at a wide variety of events. Individual song requests are no problem. She accompanies herself on the piano or sings to playalongs. Additional musicians such as pianists, guitarists or saxophonists can of course also be booked.
Klara has provided musical accompaniment for more than 250 private events, celebrations and weddings since 2018 and impresses with her professionalism and experience.

Klara has been working passionately as a vocal coach at the Wesermarsch Music School in Brake since April 2019 in the areas of jazz/rock/pop, and also gives private lessons at her home.
Her lessons are primarily about discovering and developing the voice through the joy of singing. The learning objectives are set and worked out very differently depending on the level.
Overcoming fears and strengthening your self-confidence can be part of the lessons, which you work on and consolidate together.
She also gives piano lessons for beginners. All ages are welcome.
